Well after the panic of arranging a wedding in a week we have had a reasonably calm day today.
You know how it is when you have been on the go for ages and eventually stop...you realise how knackered you are. Craig is coing down with Katies cold and I have noticed a reaction to the meds I had last week.
I say notice...but honestly after a full day scratching thinking I had sun burn on my new baldy head it wasn't until I had a bath that I noticed I was covered in a rash. Luckily this is on the list of expected symptoms from the medication I had last week, but being itchy all day is so so so ......annoying.
I even cleaned the oven in an attempt to stop scratching myself. (Just in memory of the 3 hours you spent last week Dave..must have been thinking about you).
So back to school tomorrow (kids) which gives us normality and will hopefully get us back in to a routine before we get set for Tom's party (Happy birthday to Meg too), at the weekend. Then next on the list of jobs will be to start planning Wedding Part 2. So watch this space.
Toni.
This blog has been set up allow me to keep in touch with family and friends and give you updates on what we are doing and how the treatment is going.
WELCOME
Hi all,
This is my blog, purpose is to update all my friends and family on how I am and what myself, the family and our friends have planned for the time I have left.
I will include updates on my treatments, how I am feeling and what we are planning as a family. I do have a lot planned so don't expect daily updates, hopefully this will give you some general information but I am happy to answer questions and all suggestions are welcome.
